Plant Manager

Participates in the formulation, interpretation and communication of plant's long-range principles, policies and objectives.
Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving in order to accomplish the division goals and objectives in a timely and cost effective manner
Coordinate plant activities with the functional department managers to ensure that all plant objectives are supported.
Implement effective systems of control over EH&S to guarantee compliance and certification requirements
Determine and submit schedules, forecasts and budgets to ensure that the relevant plant resources, equipment, supplies, facilities are available
Identify, train, develop, motivate and manage employees to ensure top performance
Reviews and evaluates cost effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy and performance to standards and takes action as necessary to correct discrepancies
Proven experience in automotive sector with serial production
Good working knowledge of management principles learned through experience and/or specific training or substantial understanding of scientific principles to interpret, modify or develop standards
Ability to direct and lead Automotive operations
Must be able to perform under production requirements
Good oral and written communication skills are a must
Ability to work in a team environment
Promote continuous improvement effort
Education - Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience - At least 8-10 years of related experience. Additional education may be substituted for experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
